Girls on the Run Kansas City awarded our founder, Halley Vincent, in 2021 for her philanthropic community service. This was later recognized by Nonprofit Connect in their Philly Awards. Award presenter and Kansas City security agency Armour Alarms went one step further by also presenting Paws Up KC with a $500 check of support!
“Start With A Heart” are kid-produced cat products, with a focus on colorful paintings, prints, and gifts for the cat lover. 100% of the proceeds from the Start with A Heart store goes to Paws Up KC!
In 2020 Paws Up KC was recognized as Chewy.com‘s first-ever “Hero Of The Month”. The top pet retailer sent dozens of Birthday Boxes which were distributed to loving shelter adoptees in our social media “Shelter Success Story” feature series.
“Shelter Success Story” awardees also received a generous array of gifts and gift cards from dubdog designs, Brookside, U-Wash Puppy, and Brookside Barkery & Bath.
Harley’s Hideaway is a small town bar and grill with a HUGE heart and they continue to give to Paws Up KC.
“Pound For Pound” was a natural offshoot of Operation Tailgate. In 2022 we will accept physical shelter donations once per month along with other donations bagged for City Union Mission, which operates Red Racks and City Thrift brand stores throughout Kansas City. A monetary donation will be given to Paws Up KC with $1 dollar for every pound of bagged donations received. Through this partnership we help homeless pets and homeless adults, while helping to lighten the load in your home!
